Web Based Photonic Crystal Biosensors for Drug Discovery & Diagnostics

The presentation describes the structure and use of a web based bio-sensing system developed by SRU Biosystems, Inc.. The roll-to-roll manufacturing process utilizes UV cured nanoreplication and vacuum coating to produce a consumable sensor based on guided mode resonance filter technology. The presentation describes requirements of the major process steps and component materials.
