Vacuum Rollers - Functional Principles and Applications

Vacuum rollers are the most effective devices used to isolate web tension with only single-sided web contact. Commonly used in coating operations, vacuum rolls are used as pull rolls or to isolate web tension from a higher tension zone to a lower tension zone while leaving a sensitive side of the web untouched.
