One of the greatest challenges in the converting industry today is high employee turnover. Companies operating high hazards processes also face high turnover but with potentially greater risk and are, therefore, subject to Process Safety Management regulations. No one wants to incur additional regulation; however, there are several tools called out in PSM regulations that are useful in managing personnel turnover. This talk discusses the basic pillars of PSM and highlights elements that are worth adopting in any converting operation.
