Initial Wetting System for IMC-Evaporators

The initial wetting of aluminium on the boat surface has a significant
influence on the efficiency of the evaporation process during vacuum
metallization.

Sintec Keramik's "Initial Wetting System" is characterized by an
improvement of the initial wetting of aluminium using IMC evaporators.
The improved wetting of aluminium is based on chemical reactions between the evaporator surface and initial wetting components during the heat-up process.

Due to a larger wetted area a higher evaporation rate can be realized from
the beginning. The spitting risk is lowered and the lifetime of the evaporator can be increased by proper handling.
