Ceramic Cylinders to Meet Tomorrow's Needs

Over the years, printing and coating technology has evolved to provide printers, converters, laminators, and coaters a way to supply their customers with products that have serviced their growing needs. Roller coating has always been a method to coat and print in our industry. These rolls are used to meter inks and coatings to desired specifications to meet a variety of needs and functions. These include decoration, application of barriers, and also assist in the sealing of packages and laminations.

There are many variations in coating methods, which I will describe; however I will limit this discussion to the main types of roller coating, hopefully, without offending those of you who may use a different variation or alternative method.
