The presentation titled "Web Handling In High-Speed Hot Melt Lamination Machines" gives an insight of the art of unwinding of non-woven including splicing and web transfer up to 1000 m/min with out of round rolls, splice tape detection and save cutting device. Web handling and conveying of sensitive substrates at high-speed and low tension for non-woven and thin breathable or non-breathable films are presented too. That comprises web tension control with pull & brake, special idle roll and surface design for low tension and optimize web guiding. Inline slitting and winding is the last part of the presentation by explaining continuous, fully automatic winding at high-speed with one or dual web transfer, inline slitting at minimum waste and roll handling.
