Transfer to PFAS Free Packaging without Loss of Production - Implementation of the Roadmap with HTI Technology

Kevin Lifsey

Presented by Gene Plavnik, Heat Technologies Inc

Heat Technologies, Inc (HTI), the provider of the Spectra Ultra HE acoustic ultrasonic heat and mass transfer technology for the crosscut of industries, will discuss the major milestones of the road map of the transfer to PFAS free packaging with HTI Spectra HE Ultra Heat and Mass Transfer Technology.

Along with the brief background on the technology, the presentation will focus on the roadmap ad its major steps of the transition and its implementation which resulted by the complete transfer of a food packaging production facility to PFAS free substrates, coatings, adhesives, and inks without loss of the production throughput. Selection of proper substrates, adhesives, coatings and inks, its coverage, air supply lines, curing and drying rates at specific lines speeds will be discussed in detail. Attendees will gain an understanding of how Spectra Ultra HE Curing and Drying Systems deliver needed throughput rates within the same or smaller footprint and less energy than traditional drying technologies.

The presentation also includes several photo files that support the step-by-step roadmap - transition when HTI's patented acoustic heat and mass transfer technology is applied.
