High Throughput for Coating Developments

The requirements of combining design of experiments (DoE), formulating with High Throughput (HT) and performing smart screening tests, to speed up and improve coating developments will be presented. Using DoE is a valuable tool to understand the raw material effects, but can generate lots of formulations and data. To prepare all these coating formulations in a fast, efficient and accurate manner, the right HT system should be used. Several coatings, ranging from water based to solvent free, are already developed via this combined approach and have shown their practical use.
