Having a unique solution to match the sustainability targets for flexible packaging has been the Nissha Metallizing Solutions’ commitment for the last few years.  We are getting closer to the 2025-2030 sustainability targets every year and brand owners are driving the move to more sustainable packaging.

Our recent years’ work confirmed that the Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) metallization is a key process to bring high water vapor barrier properties to paper. Selecting advantaged raw materials (papers and coatings) and having proper process set-up are important for achieving successful product. Recently we have been able to produce a resilient metallized paper for flexible packaging with high water vapor and oxygen barrier properties.

Continuous R&D development as well as active connections with machine providers, raw materials suppliers and customers are of fundamental importance for delivering superior product in a timely fashion.
